The successful candidate should demonstrate:
An in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and have a broad range of teaching experience.
Excellent people management, leadership and communication skills, a proven ability to implement school based initiatives and policies and a commitment to continuous professional development.
A clear and ambitious vision for high-quality teaching and learning, and a strong commitment to inclusive and child-centred education.
Proven leadership and management experience within a school setting, and experience in school self-evaluation and school improvement planning.
A strong commitment to National School's values of kindness and respect, to continue to uphold the Catholic ethos of the school and to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a Primary School in Ireland
