An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

These posts are pending numbers and confirmation of SNA allocation from the NCSE. The roles will entail working with a number of children in either mainstream or autism class settings. Experience desirable in medical conditions such as cystic fibrosis, epilepsy and diabetes; and in ASD, ADHD, DCD, EBD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and managing behaviours of concern. Candidates must be able to work well as part of an enthusiastic and energetic team of teaching and non-teaching colleagues, be good communicators, be flexible, display a strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to engage in further training. One of the posts advertised here is a standard permanent part-time post (0.83 post, 26.56 hours weekly), and the other is a standard permanent part-time post, (0.75 post, 24 hours weekly) with additional Croke Park hours. These permanent posts will commence on August 31st, 2026.
