An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Oliver’s Special School caters for children with moderate and severe to profound intellectual disabilities; including autism. It is essential that suitable candidates have experience in a special school, as well as experience of working with pupils with multiple disability, autism and behaviours that challenge. Preference will be given to candidates who have proven experience in the management of students with behaviours that challenge and have experience of the following: PECS, TEACCH, Lámh, Manual Handling, CPI and FEDS.
