An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are currently inviting applications for the position of substitute Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) to join our dedicated team.
The position is from February 2nd- June 26th 2026, with working hours 08.20-14.20.
Essential Criteria:
• Proven experience working with children presenting with challenging behaviour and complex learning needs, strong IT skills, with the ability to support students in using assistive technologies and digital tools and a solid understanding of Restorative Practice and its application in an educational setting
Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per DE guidelines. Appointments are subject to current vetting requirements and occupational health screening. Canvassing will disqualify.
