St. Joseph’s Special School is designated as a special school for students 5-18 years of age who have been assessed as being in the Mild General Learning Disability Range. Many of our students would have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, Social Emotional and Behavioural Needs and /or Behaviours that Challenge.
This post is to teach Home Economics to senior students from 12- 18 years of age. Senior students follow the Level 1 or Level 2 Junior Cycle programme. Appointments will be subject to satisfactory references, Teaching Council registration and up to date Garda Vetting. Candidates must hold Teaching Council, 2 to be eligible for this post.
The post is for 5 hours each Monday and Tuesday
The post is until the commencement of the Easter Holidays and is paid at Primary Rate of pay for Specialist Subject Teachers employed in Special Schools.
