Special Class Co-Ordinator/Teacher commencing January 2026.
Ardscoil na Mara invites applications from suitably qualified/experienced teacher for the position of Co-Ordinator/Teacher of a Special Class catering to the needs of students on the Autism Spectrum, which commences in January 2026. Experience working in a special class for students on the Autism Spectrum is desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Co-ordinate and manage all aspects of provision with the classroom.
Create and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with parents, support staff, and other educators.
Provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Develop social communication skills and life skills.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Interviews are scheduled to take place the week beginning 15th December.
Canvassing will disqualify.
A Garda Vetting Disclosure, declaration of fitness for employment, and proof of adequate registration with the Teaching Council will be required to be appointed.
