Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Part-time cleaner wanted.
Hours: 12 hours per week (After school hours, after 3pm Monday - Friday)
Contract - probation period of 6 months and then yearly afterwards. Reviewed and renewed on a yearly basis.
Start date 5th January 2026.
Hourly rate €16 per hour subject to Department of Education funding.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of initiative, be responsible, have the ability to work independently, respect the ethos and confidentiality of the school and be flexible.
Full adherence to school safety and operational guidelines is required.
All necessary equipment will be provided.
Garda Vetting, valid Statutory Declaration and Form of Undertaking are required before appointment to this position.
Main duties to be carried out are:
- General cleaning (Hoovering & Washing) of all classrooms and other rooms within the school
- Toilets
- School Hall and Corridors
- Managing the refuse and recycling within the school
- Cleaning of desks, chairs, tables
- Managing the ordering of cleaning products and materials
- Other duties may apply throughout the year
