An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The bus escort must be available in the mornings and afternoons to accompany and support pupils with Autism travelling in a mini-bus to and from school each day. The bus escort will meet the bus driver daily at the school. The position is twenty hours weekly. The hourly rate of pay is in line with Department of Education pay rates for bus escorts. Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting, occupational health check and verification of references. Experience of working with children with additional needs is desirable.
