An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The bus escort must be available in the mornings and in the afternoons five days per week to accompany and support pupils to and from school. The bus driver will meet the bus escort daily at the school. The position is twenty hours weekly. The hourly rate of pay is in line with Department of Education guidelines for school bus escorts. Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting, occupational health check and verification of references. Experience of working with children with additional needs is desirable.
