The successful candidate will ideally have:
-A clear understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic primary school
-Strong leadership and communication skills and experience of managing people
-Proven ability to work as part of a team and to foster leadership in others
-Experience of teaching in a DEIS school and knowledge of DEIS programmes and initiatives
-An in-depth knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and a broad range of teaching experience
-A high level of understanding and knowledge of special education needs
-Experience of developing and implementing curricular initiatives and interventions
-Excellent organisational and administrative skills
