Dromin NS is a vertical, co-educational school under the patronage of the Archbishop of Armagh.
The present staff comprises of 1 teaching principal, 3 class teachers, 1 SET (job-sharing), 2 SNAs, 1 part-time secretary.
The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:
An understanding of and commitment to the Catholic ethos
Interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, and an ability to implement school-based initiatives, manage school teams and lead the school community
An in-depth knowledge of the Primary Curriculum across all class levels and a broad range of teaching experience
A high level of understanding and knowledge of special education needs and of inclusion and diversity in education
Excellent communication and people management skills
A commitment to and evidence of continuing and relevant professional development
An ability to foster the involvement of parents within the school community as well as with the local parish community
Experience of policy development and curriculum planning
Applicants must be fully registered with the Teaching Council and have a recognised qualification to teach religion in a Catholic school
