As Scoil na Coróine Mhuire is a Catholic school, applicants for this position must have a certificate to teach Religious Education.
In addition, the following skills experience and knowledge are desirable:
A clear understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a primary Catholic School
An in-depth knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and a broad range of teaching experience
A commitment to and evidence of continuing and relevant professional development
Evidential experience of managing people (in any setting)
Proven ability to work as a member of a team
Excellent people management and communication skills
Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload
Proven Leadership school administrative Skills
Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school-based initiatives
Previous experience in policy formulation and implementation.
A high level of understanding and knowledge of special education needs and of inclusion and diversity in education
Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and Teaching Council registration.
A minimum of 3 eligible applications are required for this competition to proceed. Appointment will be subject, but not limited to: Satisfactory references Current & Continuing Teaching Council Registration Current Garda Vetting requirements Occupational Health Screening.
