Hedgestown National School is looking for 2 Bus Escorts.
These are 1-year part-time posts:
Post 1( Lusk): 3 Hours per day, 5 days a week (Morning 8:20 a.m. to 9:20 a.m., in the afternoon: 1:40p.m. to 3:40 p.m.(approximately) Monday to Friday during term time.)
Post 2 (Balbriggan): 2.5 Hours per day, 5 days a week (Morning 8:20 to 9:20 a.m., in the afternoon 1:40p.m. to 2:40 pm (approximately) Monday to Friday during term time.)
The escort makes arrangements to meet the bus operator at either the pick up point of the first student. The first pick-up point is often close to the home address of the Bus Escort or first child. Similarly, in the afternoon the escort would be picked up by the driver at the same point (at approximately 1:40 p.m and brought in to the school in Hedgestown in order to bring the same group of approximately six children home from school.
We are also seeking to form a panel of escorts who would provide occasional substitute cover on these bus runs.
The hourly rate is €15.50. Holiday pay will be paid at 8%. The hourly rate, inclusive of holiday pay will be €16.74 (€15.50 +8%).
Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting requirements and verification of references. Please include at least two referees and their contact details in your letter of application.
