The Board of Management of Killester Raheny Clontarf ETNS invites applications for the position of Deputy Principal. This is a permanent position commencing as soon as possible after interview appointed through open competition and in line with Circular 0044/2019.
Established in 2019, Killester Raheny Clontarf ETNS is a vibrant, developing, values driven Educate Together school. In 2025/2026, we will have mainstream classes from Junior Infants to Fifth Class and two Autism Classes.

We are looking for a leader who will support us to continue to grow and strengthen that ethos in action.
We are seeking a Deputy Principal who shares our deep commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and caring school culture, someone who leads through relationships and partnership, building trust and connection with children, staff, families and the wider community.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal as part of the senior leadership team to support the day-to-day running and strategic leadership of the school.

- Leads and collaborates on teaching, learning and curriculum development
- Nurtures staff wellbeing, fostering collaboration, respectful interactions, reflective practice and professional learning and development
-Communicates with clarity and empathy, engaging all members of our diverse school community
-Champions inclusive education recognising the dignity and potential of each child
-Upholds our school ethos and brings a commitment to anti-racism, equity and inclusion.
The roles and responsibilities of this post relate to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in circular 0044/2019
1. Leading Teaching and Learning.
2. Managing the Organisation.
3. Leading School Development.
4. Developing Leadership Capacity.

- a second interview may be required.
