Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
(i) These are Supply Panel Teaching Positions, Scoil Mhuire is a base school for the Primary Supply Panel. The 7 Supply Panel Teachers will be based in Scoil Mhuire and will provide short term substitute cover for a designated cluster of 18 schools in the greater Ballincollig area and covering some parts of Cork City. School settings will include mainstream, special schools, special classes and Gaelscoileanna;
(ii) The Supply Panel Teachers will have a fixed term contract for the 2025 -'26 school year, until the end of August 2026;
(iii) Supply Panel Teachers will be eligible to apply for travel expenses (Circular 09/2015);
(iv) Canvassing will disqualify;
(v) Note that a CV is required (not a Standard Application Form);
(vi) There is no need to send copies of certificates for short term courses - listing them in the CV will suffice;
(vii) Applications by email only;
(viii) Please include a certificate to teach Catholic Religion;
(ix) Please include referees (name, role, contact no.).
