Castleknock Community College invites applications for the position of Irish Teacher.
The Irish Department is a large, dynamic, and innovative team that has developed a strong academic profile within the College. The department consistently achieves a high uptake of Higher Level Irish in the State Examinations.
Beyond the classroom, the Irish Department plays a key role in enriching the cultural life of the College. It actively promotes Seachtain na Gaeilge, facilitates a lunchtime Irish Club, organises Gaeltacht trips for senior students, and leads in Irish language debating—with the College proudly winning the National Gael Linn Senior Debating Final in 2024.
