An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We have 3 permanent SNA positions. Two 0.83 posts for our second ASD Special Class which will be opening on the 27th of August. The 3rd position is 0.5 post for the mainstream classes. All positions have been sanctioned by the NCSE.
Experience working with children with ASD in a special class setting is desirable. SNA's will be required to assist with personal hygiene and intimate care needs.
Candidates must be able to work as part of a team, be flexible and show a willingness to engage in further training and upskilling.
The appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, current vetting and OHS requirements. Posts are allocated by the NCSE and are subject to review.
