An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Naomh Feichin, Termonfeckin, has been designated by the Department of Education as the base school for a Primary Teacher Supply Panel.
The purpose of the Teacher Supply Panel is to provide substitution cover to a cluster of designated primary schools in the Drogheda area. These schools are in rural parishes around the town of Drogheda, education is through the medium of English and the schools are under Catholic patronage.
The teachers on the Teacher Supply Panel will be appointed to the staff of Scoil Naomh Feichín on a fixed term contract for the school year 2025/26. Applicants for these posts must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education and appointments will be subject to current Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening..
This is a wonderful opportunity to build up experience in all teaching roles and to form strong professional networks in schools in the South Louth / East Meath area.
The Teacher Supply panel will operate in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in Circular 0059/2019. For further information in relation to this, please refer to Circular 59/2019 or contact the principal of the base school, Scoil Naomh Feichín.
Travel expenses are payable as per Circular 0009/2015.
