An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Temporary Allocation to support Ukrainian Students (0.5 Hours).
The allocation of SNA posts are currently reviewed on circa 6 weeks basis, based on up-to-date enrolment data on POD/PPOD at that point and will be adjusted upwards if the enrolments increase in line with the thresholds above.
f enrolments have dropped below the thresholds, any change to the allocation will be applied at the end of the relevant school term (e.g. Christmas 2025).
It is important to note that these post(s) are allocated on a temporary basis only and the school should not create any permanent role on the basis of these temporary hours.
Please note as per DE advice:
The posts are effective from 1st of September 2025 to 19th of December 2025.
THIS TEMPORARY RESOURCE CEASES ON THE 19/12/25. ONLY SCHOOLS THAT QUALIFY FOR TEMPORARY RESOURCES FOR THE NEXT TERM WILL RECEIVE A LETTER OF CONFIRMATION CIRCA 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO END OF THE PRESENT TERM.
