An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Carrigabruise NS has vacancies for two permanent SNA positions both of which are 32 hour posts. Our school also has a Fixed Term SNA position for the 2025-2026 school year and this is a 32 hour post. We seek applicants with experience in mainstream and a special class for ASD. Applicants must be willing to learn and have an interest in supporting the educational needs of pupils with autism, behavioural and additional needs.

The ideal candidates must be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. They must be hardworking, flexible, positive, energetic, trustworthy, and willing to get involved in all events and activities relating to our school.

All appointments will be subject to but not limited to, current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and satisfactory references.
