Additional Information:
The position being advertised is for 1 Full time SNA for our Autism Class and 1 Part-Time SNA (Job Share) for our Mainstream Class. Please specify clearly which position or if both are being applied for in your application.
The successful candidates will be:
- flexible, inclusive, energetic, and demonstrate initiative
- A reflective practitioner and seek out Teacher Professional Learning in areas of self-identified need
- willing to upskill depending on needs of the children
- committed to working as part of a dynamic and supportive team
Knowledge and experience of TEAACH, LÁMH, PECS, ABA would be beneficial. MAPA training would also be advantageous as well as experience working with children with behaviours of concern would be beneficial.
An internal panel of suitable/ applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (4 months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
