An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of St. Brendan's NS invites applications from candidates for the position of full time Special Needs Assistant in our school.
St Brendan's NS is a vibrant school with a stong culture of improvement, innovation and creativity with our pupils at the heart of everything we do.
-We are seeking a candidate who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the pupils and the school.
-We are seeking a candidate who is energetic, enthusiastic and can contribute and collaborate with our team as well as working on his/her own inititative.
-Candidates must be flexible and must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children and our school.
Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills Circular 0051/2019
Appointment will be subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and completion of Children's First online training.
Successful candidates will be expected to respect confidentiality at all times.
The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.
