O Connell Primary school is DEIS band 1 all boys school located in Dublin 1 in the shadows of Croke Park. We are part of the Edmund Rice Schools Trust. There are 160 pupils in the school. 21 teachers and 14 SNAs, 10 mainstream classes and 2 special classes. We are part of the city connects pilot project and we have our own MDT based in the school (psychology, OT & SLT) The teaching position will be in a mainstream class. In the school we use the write to read programme, maths recovery and we place a huge emphasis on music, the arts, sports and mental health and well being in our school.
