An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, current vetting requirements, satisfactory pre-employment medical screening via the OHS, Patron Approval and continued sanctioning of the post by the DE.
For teachers who qualified prior to September 2011, a recognised qualification to teach Catholic Religious Education on the island of Ireland is desirable.
For teachers who qualified post September 2011, a recognised certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education is required.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in in-school training and planning prior to the school reopening to students on Thursday 28th August 2025.
Latest date and time for accepting applications is 5pm on 25th June 2025.
Interviews expected between 12th-15th July 2025, however this is subject to change.
