An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is a fixed-term, job share, infant day post, working two days one week, three days the next. It is anticipated this position will be based in one of our five autism classes. Therefore previous experience of working in an autism class is essential.
Duties of the post are as outlined in the Department of Education Skills 0030/2014 and other relevant circulars. Applicants must demonstrate the specific competencies and requirements to meet the special educational and care needs of children. Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display a strong work ethic, demonstrate a willingness to avail of further
training, respect the ethos of the school and be willing to work under the direction of the class teachers, SET Co-Ordinator and school Principal.
All appointments are subject to successful completion of Garda Vetting
procedure. Proposed date for interview is Tues 1st July.
