An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Declan's is a school that follows the full primary curriculum for children who need time-out from mainstream primary schools for a period of up to two to three years.
We follow the full primary school curriculum supporting children experiencing emotional difficulties.
We have a vibrant and supportive team of teachers and SNAs. Pupil/teacher ratio of 6:1 with a number of SNAs supporting each grouping.
All qualified primary teachers are welcome to apply (teaching of Irish is a requirement).
