An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Naas Community National School opened in September 2010. The school will have 14 mainstream classes and 7 full time SET teaching staff in September 2025. Naas Community National School, is part of a relatively new model of primary school established to answer the changing needs of Irish society. The Positions
1 Projected Enrolment Post. The school has been granted 1 projected enrolment post for September 2025. The post will be Temporary-fixed term until the DES confirm our enrolment figures from our census returns on 30th Sept 2025. If we reach the required enrolment figure and the position is not required by the DES for the panel, it will become Permanent.
1 Fixed Term mainstream class teacher position for the full school year.
2 Fixed Term SET positions for the full school year
1 Fixed Term SET position which will be initially offered up to October 24th 2025.
1 Conditional Fixed Term. The school has been granted 1 EAL fixed term post. This decision is conditional on the school achieving the projected enrolment figures on 30th September 2025 for pupils that require language support. If the required enrolment has not materialised on 30th September 2025, the post will be suppressed.
National Vetting Bureau and Occupational Health
All new employees must be Garda Vetted under the new arrangements made with the Teaching Council. The school must have proof of this before a teacher is allowed to take up work. Teachers will also have to complete OHS with Medmark prior to taking up the role.

The successful candidate will be required to provide copies of your qualifications. Please do not send them with your application.
