An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Initially this is to fill 1 X fixed term special class teaching post. The school has also been approved for two provisional fixed term EAL posts until the October midterm and these may extend to full-year fixed term contracts - subject to panel. There will also be a maternity leave.
Experience in a similar DEIS Band 1 Urban Setting, a familiarity with DEIS initiatives and small group literacy and numeracy instruction advantageous.
