An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Templeglantine NS is a mixed, rural, Catholic school.
This vacancy is for a fixed-term position. Initial duties for the post will be those of a mainstream class teacher. This is subject to change and may include SET and/or principal release day duties and travelling to clustered schools. This is at the discretion of the Principal and based on the needs of the school.
Experience teaching in a multi-class setting is desirable but not essential. Appointment is subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current Garda vetting and Occupational Health Screening.
Templeglantine N.S. is a Catholic School and a certificate to teach Catholic religious education is a requirement. Applicants must include a copy of their recognised certificate to teach Religious Education with their application.
Candidates will be invited to interview via email. Only those shortlisted for interview will be contacted. Please provide three printed copies of your application by post and clearly state on the envelope 'Fixed Term Application.'
Prior to interview, candidates will be asked to provide copies of their Teaching Council Registration, Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates and contact information for their referees.
