An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Michael’s G.N.S. is seeking to appoint a team player with initiative who is willing to contribute to the overall development of the school
This advert is for mainstream classroom teaching posts and is subject to change at the determination of the Principal.
This round of interviews will also be used to appoint any additional positions which may arise due to EAL hours or Supply Panel vacancies.
Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
-Probation
-Team teaching and in class support in Literacy and Numeracy .
-Interest in Music, Sport and IT .
-Experience of teaching in a DEIS school.
-Teaching children with a range of additional needs.
-Teaching children with English as an additional language.
All Appointments will be subject to:
-Satisfactory references (minimum 3)
-Teaching Council Registration
-Current Garda Vetting Requirements
-Occupational Health Screening
-Qualifications
-St. Michael's G.N.S. is a Catholic School. The successful candidate must hold the appropriate certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education.
