An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Fixed Term Teacher required for St. Joseph’s N.S., Leitrim Village, Roll No: 01125B, commencing Monday 1st September 2025.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a face to face interview. Remote interviews CANNOT be facilitated.
The successful candidate must be registered with the Teaching Council, be qualified to teach Religion, have a current Garda Vetting Disclosure, have completed the Tusla Child Safeguarding e-learning training and be familiar with the Child Safeguarding Procedures and must completed Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements (via Medmark) prior to appointment. Appointment is subject to the approval of the Patron. The successful candidate will be required to attend a Croke Park Planning Day on Friday 29th August. Experience teaching Junior Infants and working with pupils with ASD are desirable.
