The successful candidate should be suitably qualified with a minimum of a QQI level 3 qualification and should have experience with children, particularly those with SEN including autism. They should demonstrate a knowledge of SEN in a variety of educational settings including mainstream and autism class and they should demonstrate strong teamwork skills. Confidentiality and professionalism are essential at all times and the successful candidate should demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to liaise with staff, parents and external professionals. They should demonstrate an ability to adapt to different classroom environments and children’s needs as they arise and a commitment to uphold the Catholic ethos of the school.
Garda Vetting Clearance is mandatory prior to commencement.
