An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Fixed Term Position - 2nd and 3rd class, but this is subject to change at the determination of the prinipcal.
Post 2)
Fixed term position - This is a shared post, part of a five-school cluster. Applicants must have access to travel. The applicant will cover Principal Release days both in mainstream and SET settings.
Nicker N.S. is a Catholic school. The successful candidate must hold the appropriate Certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education.
Nicker N.S. is seeking to appoint a team player who is willing to contribute to the overall development of Nicker N.S.The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Full Probation
Experience of teaching in a similar sized or larger co-educational school
Experience in some or all of the following: Aistear, Literacy Lift-Off, IEPs, Standardised Testing, Guided Reading, literacy circles, Running Records, IT for SEN, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy.
Interests/skills/experience in PE/Sport/Music are advantageous.
Your application must also be accompanied by the contact details of a minimum of 3 professional referees.
Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications, Teaching Council registration, and teaching practice grades.
Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council Registration, current Garda Vetting
requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
