As Dromtrasna NS is a Catholic School, applicants for this position must have a certificate to teach Religious Education.

In addition, the following skills experience and knowledge are desirable:

 A clear understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School
 Previous teaching experience across all classes in a multi-grade school
 Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development
 Evidential experience of managing people (in any setting)
 Proven ability to work as a member of a team
 Excellent communication skills
 Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload
 Proven Leadership Skills
 Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of
innovative school-based initiatives
 Previous experience in policy formulation and implementation.

Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and teaching Council registration.
