European School of Varese (Italy) - Primary teachers

For the academic year 2025 – 2026 the primary cycle of the European School of Varese (Italy) is seeking dynamic, well-qualified and experienced teachers for the following posts in the Anglophone section:

1) A mother tongue teacher for the anglophone section (primary cycle)

Applicants should:
- Have an appropriate teaching qualification: diploma (validated by the national authorities) permitting to teach in the Nursery/Primary school -PGCE / QTS.
- Recent experience teaching to Nursery/Primary school pupils.
- Being able to work in a dynamic, multilingual and multicultural team.
- Passion for teaching and for nurturing all aspects of a child's development, beyond academics.
- Interest in and experience with differentiated pedagogy.
- A high level of professionalism and commitment for the pupils’ well-being.
- European citizen or person having a valid working permit in Italy.

2) A L2 native speaker English teacher (primary cycle)

Applicants should:
- Have an appropriate teaching qualification: diploma permitting to teach in the Nursery/Primary school (QTS); additional training or experience in EAL/ESOL is highly valued; PGCE will be considered an asset for further teaching hours allocation.
- Recent experience teaching L2EN to Nursery/Primary school pupils.
- Being able to work in a dynamic, multilingual and multicultural team.
- Passion for teaching and for nurturing all aspects of a child's development, beyond academics.
- Interest in and experience with differentiated pedagogy.
- A high level of professionalism and commitment for the pupils’ well-being.
- European citizen or person having a valid working permit in Italy.
