An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of St. Brigid’s N.S. invites applications from dedicated and qualified candidates for an SNA position in our school. This is a fixed term full time SNA position to cover a career break for the school year 2025/2026 .
Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills Circular 0051/2019. The successful candidate is expected to carry out duties as per Circular 0030/2014.
The candidate should display a strong work ethic, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Successful candidates will be expected to respect confidentiality at all times. Experience of working with children with ASD, Emotional / Behavioural needs, ADHD etc desirable.
The appointment will be subject to confirmation of qualifications, current vetting requirements and occupational health screening and completion of Children First online training.
