Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The position is a Job Share of a 0.83 post (Infant hours) with a permanent staff member for 2025-2026.
*Posts are allocated by NCSE and are subject to review.
Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills Circular 0051/2019. A FETAC/QQI level 6 is essential for this role.
Desirable experience:
Supporting students with sensory needs, communication needs, emotional and behavioural needs and intimate care needs.
Working with pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Knowledge of, and experience in, contributing to pupil's care plans.
We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, can contribute to our team and work on his/her own initiative.
A willingness to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school is also desirable. The successful candidate would ideally have good communication skills, display competence in I.T. and evidence of CPD in Special Education.
