The Board of Management of Bohola National School invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Principal Teacher to take effect from 2nd September 2025.
Bohola National School is a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Achonry Kevin Doran.
Bohola National is a co-educational vertical mainstream school with a 6 teaching posts and 2.5 Special Needs Assistants.
Recruitment and appointment procedures in accordance with DE Circular 044/2019, Chapter 4.
The roles and responsibilities for this post relate to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in Circular 0044/2019: 1. Leading Teaching and Learning 2. Managing the Organisation 3. Leading School Development 4. Developing Leadership Capacity.
Applicants who qualified after Sept 2011, a recognised certificate to teach Religious Education is required. Applicants who qualified pre-Sept 2011, a recognised qualification to teach Religious Education is desirable.
