Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of St. Brigid's N.S., Annacurra would like to invite applications for 1 permanent SNA posts (full hours). It is post above SERC level. It is a Catholic School under the patronage of the Diocese of Ferns.
The successful applicants will be required to work in a mainstream / ASD class setting.
Applicants who hold a PF1 panel form should submit this with their application
Appointments are subject to satisfactory referencing, Garda vetting and Occupational Health Screening.
Experience working with pupils with ASD and communication difficulties is desirable as is a practical experience with the promotion of positive behaviour.
Evidence of CPD in the area of Special Education is advantageous as well as displaying a commitment to ongoing CPD engagement. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school and be willing to work in collaboration with all members of staff to maximise each child's potential.
