An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Experience of working with children with a range of needs is desirable. Knowledge of PECS, LÁMH desirable. Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour, physical disabilities, toileting needs, medical care needs and ASD essential. Garda Vetting required and post will be subject to successful Garda Vetting. 0.83 post. Candidate may work in ASD classes (if/when opened) or in mainstream classes. Ability to work as a team member is essential. IT skills essential.
