Additional Information:

St. Mary's NS Ballygarrett invites applications for a permanent Special Needs Assistant (SNA) position, arising from an increase in our NCSE allocation.
This 0.83 post is based on the infant school day schedule.
Candidates should:
Have a strong understanding of the role of an SNA, as outlined in DES Circular 30/2014.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the care needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the role of the SNA in supporting their development.
Have experience working with pupils within a special class setting.
Experience supporting pupils with complex care needs, ASD, or other additional needs.
Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
