Childcare Practitioner/Room Leader/Stiúrthóir
Hours: 8.45am – 12.30pm, Mon – Fri, with the possibility of additional hours from time to time.
Requirements: A FETAC/QQI Childcare qualification (minimum Level 6). A good command of the Irish language and a knowledge of Montessori an advantage.
Responsibilities include:
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Curriculum Planning and implementation in conjunction with Aistear and Siolta following the emergent Interests of the children.
• Observe, monitor and record the development of the children in compliance with the Childcare (Pre-school Services) Regulations 2016.
• To ensure the health, safety and well-being of all children in your care.
• Good communication skills, fluent written and spoken English and a good command of the Gaelic language to be implemented into the classroom is a great advantage.
