Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This permanent position is for 0.5 SNA (Half school hours) but may be subject to change.
Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of Education & Skills Circular 0030/2019.
Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
The position will involve working in the mainstream setting, however we have a special class for children with autism in our school so experience and training in this area is very beneficial.
Appointment is subject to current vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and completion of the on line TUSLA Child Safeguarding training.
Applicants who are deemed to be a member of the supplementary panel must furnish a certified copy of completed Panel Form 1 (PF1) with their application. This must be displayed on the front of your application with your cover letter.
The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.
