An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
There are 3 positions being advertised as follows:
- One 0.83 post is based in our special class
- One 0.83 is based initially in the mainstream classes
- One 0.5 is based initially in the mainstream classes
Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training. Experience and/or training in working with children with autism and emotional behavioural difficulties is desirable. Applicants should have qualifications as per DES Circular 0051/2021.
All appointments are subject to successful completion of Garda vetting procedures, occupational health screening and completion of the online TUSLA safeguarding training.
