This position relates to a maternity leave and will commence in January 2025.
It is a requirement that you be registered under Route 2 with the Teaching Council or, in exceptional circumstances, demonstrate clearly that you can achieve registration under Route 2 in a timely manner to facilitate employment.
Mathematics, Applied Maths and Physics are the essential requirements for this post, with CSPE/SPHE and learning support desirable. If called for interview you will be asked to demonstrate competence in teaching the essential requirements to leaving certificate higher level.
The successful applicant may be requested to teach her/his/their other degree subjects, as well as CSPE, SPHE, Wellbeing, learning support.
Shortlisting may occur. Only those shortlisted will be contacted. Interviews may take place over the Christmas period, by arrangement.
Applicants must be vetted by the National Vetting Bureau before commencement of work or must hold a recent vetting and complete a form of undertaking and statutory declaration.
Qualifications as per Teaching Council regulation of the day.
Any offer of employment is subject to verification of the details provided by the candidate. All candidates are required to answer truthfully at all times. This, and the preceding conditions, are a requirement for a contract of employment to be offered.
