Dundalk Grammar School (DGS) is inviting applications for a fulltime Guidance Counsellor. The starting date is Monday the 13th January.
This role incorporates 4-5 hours of timetabled guidance and religion classes.
Successful candidate will be required to offer appointments to students.
This role involves the support of students with subject choice, 3rd level applications and counselling support.
DGS is a co-educational 5-day boarding school and a keen interest in extracurricular activities would be helpful. This is also remunerated. Please apply via email to admin@dgs.ie by 12 noon on Friday 13th December 2024. Accompanying the email should be a letter of application, Curriculum Vitae and two written references for the attention of the Headmaster. Interviews will be held the week commencing Monday 6th January 2025.
Any appointment will be subject to registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland and Garda Vetting. In compliance with DES regulations, short-listing may apply. DGS is an equal opportunities employer.
