An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Newtown N.S. is a Catholic school situated just outside the town of Ballinasloe. We have 120 pupils and are advertising to fill two part-time SNA roles.
1. 16 hour contract (.5)
2. 26 hour contact (.83)
Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references and compliance with current Garda Vetting, OHS and proof of qualifications per DES.
Prior experience of caring for pupils with additional needs in a mainstream setting is desirable. Email applications should be made to the Chairperson and should be clearly marked " SNA application" Only those being called for interview will be contacted.
