An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Peter's NS has been designated by the Department of Education and Skills as a base school for the Dublin North Central Primary Supply Panel (2024/2025).
There are five fixed-term position vacancies remaining for the 2024/25 school year.
The purpose of the Supply Panel is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of schools for teachers who are absent on short term substitutable leave. Supply panel teachers will
- be appointed to St. Peter's NS (the base school) under a fixed-term contract for one year from the designated commencement date until the 31/8/2025.
- be required to provide substitute cover in all schools (25 in total incorporating schools in Phibsboro, Cabra, Drumcondra, Broombridge and the city centre) in a designated cluster and may be deployed into a variety of settings including various class standards (including multi-grade), special education settings and Irish -medium schools.
Supply panel teachers will gain great experience in a range of different settings as well as the flexibility of working in mainstream, SET, special classes, multi-grade settings etc.

Experience in a range of settings: SET, multi-grade classes. all class settings (including infants) and Irish medium schools.
