An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of Banogue NS initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 17th of September 2024, for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Limerick. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest from the first advertisement was the 22nd of September 2024.
The closing date for the submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on this website to the 24th of September 2024.
The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.
The post will initially involve teaching in an Autism special education classroom in our school with various needs. This is an established Autism classroom which opened in September 2023.
An interest in Sport is highly desirable.
Applicants should be diligent, enthusiastic & innovative teachers who are willing to get involved in extracurricular activities.
The successful candidate must hold the appropriate Certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education.
Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council Registration, current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
