Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is a substitute maternity leave position for a full time SNA..
The appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, compliance with current Garda vetting, OHS and proof of qualifications as per DES.
Experience of working with children with autism, complex special educational needs, medical needs, intimate care / toileting needs is desirable.
Candidates will need to demonstrate their experience and ability to manage pupils presenting with challenging behaviours and must also demonstrate their ability to work as part of a school team under the direction of the class teacher, SEN Coordinator and Principal.
